What are Employer Contributions?

If you’re employed, your employer is likely to have legal duties to contribute a certain amount of money to your pension, provided that you contribute too. The amount of these employer contributions will depend on whether you were automatically enrolled in a pension or opted in, as well as the type of scheme. You can use the government’s workplace employer-contribution calculator to work out how much your employer will pay in.
